For more than 10 years, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has funded scientific projects in the field of climate change economics. The Dialogue on the Economics of Climate Change has accompanied the research activities and supported the discussion of project results with stakeholders.
To conclude the second funding phase the multifaceted results of this funding will be presented and discussed with interested parties from business, politics, administration and society at our major conference "10 Years of Economic Research on Climate Change" at the dbb forum Berlin on May 30 – 31, 2022.
A varied programme in the tradition of our Forum Climate Economics series will provide a compact overview of the project results and establish references to current climate policy issues. The conference offers a platform for cross-target dialogue on climate policy challenges against the background of these research findings and on remaining challenges for climate economics science in the societal transformation process.
The conference language will generally be German. Depending on the content and the speakers, individual sessions will be held in English.
A preliminary program can be found on the German webpage.
