Economics helps with climate adaptation!

Our world is getting warmer, and extreme weather events are becoming more frequent. We need to adapt to these new realities. In this input, we discuss what economic re­search can con­trib­ute to success­ful ad­ap­ta­tion to climate change. To this end, we report on two BMBF-funded research projects that are developing economic solutions to pro­tect bio­diver­sity in Germany and to pro­tect house­holds from extreme weather events in Mongolia.
