Expectations are high for the climate policy of the newly elected US administration. But are these expectations realistic? What consequences might a reorientation of U.S. climate policy have for Germany and Europe? And what might the future role of the U.S. look like in international efforts to achieve the Paris climate goals?

We will discuss these topics together with renowned experts during our two-hour online event.

We are pleased that Dr. Susanne Dröge (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, SWP), Prof. Dr. Ottmar Edenhofer (Potsdam Institute for Climate Research, PIK), Prof. Dr. Michael Mehling (Massachusetts Institute for Technology, MIT) and Dr. Carsten Rolle (Federation of German Industries, BDI) have confirmed their participation. They will first give short input statements and then discuss with you and us.
