International Climate Policy

At the first thematic workshop of theme 4 "Inter­national Climate Policy" the project´s represen­tatives met to narrow down and determine the topic for the Forum Climate Economics in June 2021 and the according back­ground paper.

In the beginning, each project gave a brief overview of their own research and the results to date. This was followed by a dis­cussion on the topic. To provide a basis for discussion, three proposals on topics or aspects in the field of inter­national climate policy were collected in advance of each project, which represent own research highlights or particularly interesting or relevant topics for the projects. In addition, the results of a survey on thematic preferences from the beginning of the project term (including distributional effects between regions, climate finance, etc.) were considered.
