Climate Change Costs and Adaptation Options

Our first Forum addressed the different dimensions of climate change costs and adaptation options on national and international levels. At the national level climate change leads to adaptation processes which are carried out autonomously by companies and households or which can be influenced by politics. However, the assessment of these diverse changes is not adequately addressed by considering economic benefits and costs only since societal norms and preferences also play an important role. During the Forum different dimensions of costs and adaptation to climate change were analyzed.
